A Strong Partnership
Lynn Blevins and Terry Price have both worked in local construction for years. They couldn’t help but see each other around. Consulting and contracting with each other led to a bond of trust, a friendship, and eventually, a partnership in Prestige Homes.
Lynn, co-managing executive at Prestige Homes, is responsible for supervising construction and maintaining a hands-on relationship with clients. He has had a love of the coast since his youth. Originally a resident of Bristol, TN, he began visiting Myrtle Beach in 1993 to work summers as a lifeguard.
During college at East Tennessee State University (where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration), Lynn developed an interest in construction/contracting. Post-graduation in 1999, he tried his hand at “flipping,” successfully purchasing and remodeling homes in Knoxville, TN. He made the move to Myrtle Beach permanently in 2003 when he scored a job with a local builder. Making partner after just two years, Lynn decided to work towards getting his own license. It wasn’t long before he decided to go out on his own; he has since made a name for himself building premium homes in a variety of communities, and taking on projects in the Avenues and on the Grand Strand’s famed Ocean Boulevard.
Terry, co-managing executive, oversees all construction performed by Prestige Homes. He has been working in construction since 1990, getting his start with framing and trim work in his hometown of Monroe, NC.
Since becoming a licensed contractor in 2003, he has built over 30 homes in high-end developments along the Grand Strand, including projects on Ocean Boulevard and in Grande Dunes, Tidewater, The Bluffs and more; he has also contributed to a series of commercial construction projects in downtown Myrtle Beach. Licensed in both North and South Carolina, Terry liaisons with Prestige’s custom crew to help bring your vision to life.
Susan is the Interior Designer/Construction Consultant with Prestige Homes. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, she holds degrees in Business Management and Interior Design. Susan practiced professionally in Virginia for over twenty years, working in government, commercial and residential design projects.
However, most of her experience–and her greatest passion–lies in working in the home building industry, specializing in remodels and new home construction. She has been practicing in Myrtle Beach since 2011. At Prestige, Susan helps to guide clients through the process of production selection from start to finish. Beginning with the architectural concept, she consults between all parties involved to supervise product installation and other details all the way up through occupancy. There are lots of decisions to be made, and she enjoys helping clients navigate through each of them to maintain their build schedule and budget.
